Prabhu lives just under a mile from Fond du Lac Cyclery, and while he first got excited about owning a cool bike, it didn’t take long for him to fall in love with biking itself. He is now the proud owner of three bikes, and is in his third year of cycling.
For years, Prabhu has dealt with deep fears about illness and the reality of mortality. But cycling has shown him just how much he’s capable of and has helped ease those anxieties. It’s a practice that lifts his spirit, connecting him to both nature and his own mind.

Through cycling, Prabhu has discovered a wonderful and diverse community of people. A community that shares a common passion and creates connections, something that’s especially meaningful for middle-aged adults like Prabhu. In cycling, differences fade away, and everyone moves forward together.
As a student of philosophy, Prabhu believes in continuous learning and growth, always mindful of Socrates’ famous words, “The unexamined life is not worth living.” He feels that knowledge and self-awareness are key to positive development, and cycling has given him just that. It brings him peace of mind, a sense of belonging, and a fulfilling journey—on two wheels.
